Going For The Gold

What’s the marketing power of excellent customer service? Ask Diamond Parking’s Michael Murray, City Manager, in Vancouver, BC, and you might think you were listening to the GM of a 5 star European hotel. “We strive to exceed the expectations of our clients and customers. We constantly look for ways to improve service. We empower our employees to be our best ambassadors, and we always ask for referred business.” Before joining Diamond in 2007, Michael spent 20 years in the hospitality industry managing hotels and restaurant chains in Europe and Canada. “Excellent customer service was the “gold standard” to winning more business. In addition to his years of experience in hospitality, Michael attended culinary school where he was trained as a classical French chef. He says his experience in culinary environments has given him the right recipe for success in the parking industry. “I always look for ways to create unique, memorable and personal experiences for our clients and customers. When I was cooking professionally, I was fortunate to have the freedom to innovate and improve. At Diamond, I am able to apply this same mentality.” (continued)
